Cidadãos escolhem departamentos que financiam/ Citizens select which government department gets their income tax

N'O Gato Negro, os cidadãos escolhem quais são os departamentos do estado que pretendem financiar através do pagamento de impostos. Esta medida, vista como uma simples lei populista por alguns, ou disparatada por outros, tem-se revelado um verdadeiro golpe de génio político e social. 

Os ensinamentos da Mãe dizem-nos que dentro do caos é possível encontrar ordem. Neste caso, as estatisticas demonstram que o financiamento dos vários departamentos tem as desigualdades necessárias para assegurar um estado social e funcional, que reflecte os interesses da Nação e não diverge significativamente do orçamento esboçado anteriormente. 

 A acrescer a isto, o envolvimento directo dos cidadãos no processo de gestão do país reflecte-se no seu entusiasmo, patriotismo e dedicação à nossa grande Nação.

In The Dark Cat, citizens chose the state departments they wish to fund with their taxes. This new approach, seen as a populist law by some, or simply nonsensical by others, has proved to be truly genius in the political and social levels.

The teachings of the Mother tell us that it is possible to find order inside chaos. In this case, the statistics prove that the new department funding system has the inequalities needed to ensure a social and functional state, mirroring the interests of the Nation, and diverging only in the slightest from the funding scheme previously implemented.

Furthermore, the direct participation of the citizens in the process of managing the Nation has shown an improvement in their enthusiasm, patriotism, and dedication to our great Nation.

Voto Voluntário / Voluntary Voting

Na nação d'O Gato Negro, votar é um acto voluntário. Em muitos países, o gesto de votar é considerado um dever cívico, e aqui não é diferente. No entanto, nós defendemos com convicção que punir aqueles que não querem expressar a sua opinião através do voto seria força-los a tomar uma posição que pode não representar as suas verdadeiras convicções. Como consequência, o resultado dos actos eleitorais não corresponderia aos desejos e directivas da população, falhando completamente no seu propósito: o de permitir aos dirigentes do estado inquirir a verdadeira Vontade da nação, para melhor a poder fazer cumprir.

É a esperança da nossa Mãe que os cidadãos d'O Gato Negro possam, ao apreciar a sensação de contribuir para o desabrochar de uma nação que está verdadeiramente viva, compreender o papel fundamental que têm na Revolução. Votar seria, a partir desse momento, um gesto de Vontade.

In the Great Nation of The Dark Cat, voting is voluntary. Many countries regard voting as a civic duty. The Great Cat is no different, but we strongly believe that enforcing penalties for those who do not wish to express their opinions through vote is to force them to take a position that will misrepresent their true thoughts.As a consequence, the result of electoral acts would not match the population desires and directives, thereby missing its purpose: that of allowing our leaders to enquire the true Will of the nation, so that they may fulfil it.

It is the hope of our Mother that the citizens of The Black Cat may, by enjoying the feeling of participating in the blossoming of a nation that is truly alive, understand their crucial role in the Revolution. Voting would be, from that moment onwards, a gesture of Will.
